Holby City star Tina Hobley is hoping to land herself a role in series 2 of Broadchurch.
Tina, who is leaving her role as Chrissie Williams in the medical drama after twelve years, told Digital Spy that she is due to meet with the director of Broadchurch soon as she is keen to move on to something new.
"I'm talking to one of the directors of Broadchurch [next
week] actually. It's amazing when a show really kicks off like that and the
whole country is behind it. I think that's so exciting, so yes, I'd like to be
involved with something like that. Of course, who wouldn't?" she said.
Series two of Broadchurch is due to start shooting next year, although the show's writer Chris Chibnall is currently keeping all details under wraps. Even key members of the cast do not know for sure whether they will be involved; Olivia Colman said earlier this week that although she has signed up for the new series, she does not know if she'll actually be needed.
